Medical Education and Family Welfare Division Secretary Faiz Ahmed has been appointed as the new public administration secretary.
The Public Administration Ministry issued an order in this regard on Sunday.
In another order, the ministry also said its Senior Secretary Md Mozammel Haque Khan will go in voluntary retirement from June 30.
Besides, Mymensingh Divisional Commissioner GM Saleh Uddin was made acting secretary of the Medical Education and Family Welfare Division, and Cabinet Division Additional Secretary Md Dilwar Bakht was made an acting member (acting secretary rank) of the Planning Commission.
