A Malaysian delegation visiting Bangladesh at the invitation of Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL) arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at around 2am on Wednesday.
BOESL Managing Director Mohammad Rashedul Haque welcomed the delegation and presented its head with a bouquet.
The visit is expected to strengthen Bangladesh-Malaysia cooperation, particularly by creating new employment opportunities for skilled Bangladeshi workers and expanding bilateral ties, BOESL said.
The two sides are expected to hold discussions on issues of mutual interest during the visit. The Malaysian delegation will also visit several technical training centres.
BOESL General Manager Noor Ahmed, Deputy Manager Saeed Saleheen and officials from the airport welfare desk were present at the airport.
