Prof Yunus holds talks with Belgium King

Additionally, the chief adviser also engaged in bilateral discussions with the prime minister of Thailand

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus held a bilateral meeting with King Philippe of Belgium on Wednesday, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Summit.

The chief adviser also engaged in bilateral discussions with Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister of Thailand, during the summit.

Additionally, Professor Yunus met Wolfgang Schmidt, Head of the Federal Chancellery and Federal Minister for Special Tasks, Federal Chancellery of Germany.

Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, the deputy press secretary to the chief adviser, said that the chief adviser has a packed schedule on Wednesday, with 14 meetings planned.

He further said that the chief adviser is also expected to meet Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and daughter of UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as well as Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, later in the day.

On Tuesday, Professor Yunus attended six programs in Davos.

He held meetings with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on the summit's sidelines.

He also met with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and participated in a meeting with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi during the summit.
