Referring to Trudeau's popularity in Bangladesh, Momen said: "The prime minister of Canada visited Bangladesh as a child. His name is popular in Bangladesh.”

About the invitation, Harjit S Sajjan said that he will personally convey the invitation to his prime minister .

He said: “He (Trudeau) always remembers visiting Bangladesh with his father. I know he will really want to come here if the opportunity arises.”
