Dhaka-Jalpaiguri Mitali Express, the third Bangladesh-India passenger train service, is all set to start services on Wednesday.
The inaugural ceremony will be held in Delhi. Bangladesh Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujan is in India to join the event.
Sujan and his Indian counterpart Ashwini Vaishnaw will virtually flag off the train at 9:25am.
During the regular service, the train will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 11:45 hours (IST) and reach Dhaka Cantonment at 22:30 hours (BST). In the same way, the train will depart from Dhaka Cantonment at 21:59 (BST) and reach New Jalpaiguri at 7:15 (IST).

It will run on the Haldibari (India)-Chilhati (Bangladesh) route.
The Mitali Express will run two days a week–on Mondays and Thursdays from Bangladesh and on Sundays and Wednesdays from India.
Train fares are fixed at Tk5,255 for AC berths, Tk3,420 for AC seats and Tk2,780 for AC chairs.
