A special team representing the US Office of International Religious Freedom visited the Hindu section of Kutupalong Rohingya refugee camp in Cox's Bazar's Ukhiya Upazila on Monday noon.
The seven-member team was led by Ambassador Rashad Hussain, who serves as principal advisor to the secretary and advisor to the president on religious freedom conditions and policy in the US Office of International Religious Freedom.
They exchanged dialogues with the Hindus at the Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (Brac) office of the camp and discussed their religious freedom, their opportunity and safety in the camp, said the Office of the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner in Cox's Bazar.

The team was also informed about all the programs of Brac in the camp.
Later, they exchanged dialogues with the employees of different government and non-government organizations active in the camp.
In the afternoon, the team had meetings, first with the government officers of the Office of the RRRC and then with the international representatives of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Inter Sector Coordination Group (ISCG).
