PM Hasina upset over lives lost in London fire

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed her grief, caused by the lives lost in the fire at Grenfell Tower in west London. In a message conveying her condolences addressed to the prime ministers of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Sheikh Hasina said: “While traveling to Sweden from London today, I am deeply saddened by this tragedy.” Sheikh Hasina hoped that the tireless efforts of fire fighters would help reduce the fatality and early recovery of the injured. “I convey my deepest sympathies to you and your government at this critical time.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the members of the affected families,” she added.
