The United States have deported 101 Bangladeshi citizens for illegal entry.
They arrived at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport through a special flight on Saturday, UNB reported.
Head of Brac's Migration ProgrammeShariful Hasan told the news agency that they came to know that each of the Bangladeshis went to the USA via different countries.
“They spent Tk 25 lakh to Tk 30 lakh each to reach in the USA,” he said before adding they were arrested by homeland security and sent to deportation camps.
Bangladeshi nationals were also sent back home in different periods earlier, according to the Brac official.
