Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has emphasized the strengthening of waterway connectivity to promote trade and commerce between Bangladesh and India.
She put emphasis on increasing connectivity when Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das paid a courtesy call on her at her official residence at Ganobhaban in Dhaka on Monday, reports UNB.
The PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters after the meeting.
During the meeting, they reportedly discussed various bilateral issues of interest between the two neighbouring countries.
