Defence Secretary of India Sanjay Mitra has paid tribute to the language martyrs of Bangladesh by placing flower wreaths at the central Shaheed Minar.
He laid down the wreath Thursday after noon, read a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR).
Later, Sanjay Mitra went to Bangla Academy and had a courtesy meeting with Professor Emeritus Dr Anisuzzaman, president of Bangla Academy.
