Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, said his government is determined to work closely with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, for the benefit of both countries and their people.
"On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the Thai people, I wish to express my sincere congratulations to Sheikh Hasina on her being re-elected as Prime Minister of Bangladesh for the fourth term," said the message shared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
"Given the friendship between our two countries and the dynamism in our ties, I'm certain that our relations will flourish further under your continued guidance," said Chan-o-cha , reports UNB.
Wishing Hasina success in all her endeavours, Chan-o-cha continued that Thailand has worked closely with past governments under Hasina's leadership, leading to an enhanced partnership between the two countries in many areas; especially in trade, investment, and development cooperation.
