A high-level delegation of the Kuwait Armed Forces paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Army Chief of Staff General Abu Belal Muhammad on Tuesday.
The delegation, led by chief of general staff of Kuwait Armed Forces Lt Gen Mohammad Khaled Al Khadher, meets the Bangladesh Army.
During the visit, they exchanged greetings and discussed training and different aspects of professionalism between two armed forces, according to an ISPR press release.
The military delegation paid their floral tribute to Shikha Anirban ( The Eternal Flame) at Dhaka Cantonment to pay homage to the martyred members of Bangladesh armed forces during the Liberation War in 1971. A smartly-turned out contingent drawn from Bangladesh Army presented a guard of honour at that time.
The delegation members also included Kuwait Armed Forces Military Education Department head Maj Gen Anwar Jassem Al Mazid, Kuwait Naval Force Commander Maj Gen Khaled Ahmed Abdullah, and Maj Gen Abdullah Abdus Samad Dashti.
They will also pay a courtesy calls on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Besides, they will also visit several military and civilian installations and institutions.
The 10-member high-level military delegation arrived in Dhaka on Sunday and will return on Friday upon completion of the visit.
