Ekkademy officially launched its operations through a go-live ceremony held at Sheba Bhaban on Satmasjid Road in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

The platform aims to introduce a learner-focused and retention-driven approach to online education through an AI-enabled hybrid learning system.

The event was chaired by Ekkademy Managing Director Rifat S Rahman and Chief Innovation Officer Md Mosheul Islam Maruf. Guests from the education, technology, business and media sectors attended the ceremony.

According to Ekkademy, the platform was developed with the belief that effective learning goes beyond simply watching online content and should focus on engagement, retention, feedback and measurable improvement.

One of the key features introduced at the launch was ALE (Attentive Learning Engine), a system designed to monitor learner engagement and strengthen knowledge retention.

Through ALE, learners receive distraction alerts during lessons and face interactive quizzes while watching course materials. If a learner answers incorrectly, the system redirects them to the exact section of the lesson where the topic was explained.

Ekkademy said the system is intended to reduce passive viewing habits and encourage active participation.

The platform also introduced EdRoom, an online live-class ecosystem designed for education-focused interaction and engagement tracking.

Through EdRoom, teachers can monitor learner engagement in real time through a live analytics dashboard. The system can identify distracted, inactive or confused learners, allowing teachers to provide direct support and engagement prompts during classes.

Another feature, ILM (Intelligent Learning Markup), allows learners to highlight important sections, take notes, translate content and organize study materials more effectively.

The platform also showcased AI-assisted writing and speaking evaluation, immersive mock-test systems, personalized progress analytics, structured feedback systems and hybrid online-on-premises support.

Initially, Ekkademy is launching with IELTS and English language learning programs. However, the platform said it plans to expand into communication skills, academic learning, professional development and skill-based learning programs in the future.

Ekkademy also emphasized its focus on parents, saying parents play a key role in shaping children’s learning habits and communication skills from an early stage.

The platform said it aims to create a long-term learning ecosystem where technology, analytics, retention systems and human mentorship work together to deliver measurable educational growth.

The ceremony also included recognition for contributors, mentors, team members and supporters involved in the development of the platform.
