The seminar, titled “World Hormone Day 2026,” was organized by the University Central Seminar Sub-Committee at the university’s Block A auditorium on Monday.
The discussion focused on the role of hormones in the human body, their wide-ranging impact on diseases, and the importance of diagnosing and treating complex hormone-related conditions.

Speaking as the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr FM Siddiqui said hormones have a profound impact on various systems and organs in the human body, influencing many diseases.
He added that doctors face such challenges regularly in clinical practice and stressed the need for greater awareness and knowledge about hormones among both physicians and the general public.
