Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Thursday walked from the Secretariat to the Ekushey Padak award ceremony held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium, where he presented medals to the recipients.
After the program, the prime minister returned on foot to the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat. His daughter, Zaima Rahman, accompanied him.
At around 10:45am, the prime minister left Building No. 1 of the Secretariat through Gate No. 5 and proceeded to the Osmani Memorial Auditorium via the Transport Pool Building. He returned to the Cabinet Division through the Secretariat’s main gate at around 12pm.
Earlier in the morning, the prime minister arrived at the Secretariat at about 9am and chaired a cabinet meeting.
