HerNet Fine Arts, an initiative of HerNet Foundation, is committed to fostering the arts and bridging the world for Bangladeshi artists.
With a vision to preserve, promote, and globalize Bangladesh’s artistic heritage, HerNet Fine Arts serves as a platform for artists to showcase their work, engage with international audiences, and contribute to the nation’s cultural identity.
As part of this mission, HerNet Fine Arts successfully hosted an exclusive art dialogue on Saturday, marking a historic moment for Bangladesh’s art community.

The event, held in partnership with Al Majlish Arabian Restaurant founded by Abdul Aziz Aishan and Ahmed Alsakkaf from Yemen, featured the grand unveiling of Bangladesh’s largest Art Data Center, a pioneering project dedicated to digitally preserving and promoting the nation’s diverse artistic legacy.
The evening commenced with an inspiring presentation by Alisha Pradhan, founder of HerNet Foundation, who shared the vision behind the initiative and its significance in safeguarding Bangladesh’s art industry.
The evening was convened by the chairperson of HerNet Foundation, Md Monir Prodhan.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Abdulmutalib S M Suliman, ambassador of Libya, Abul Hosen, consul of Uganda to Bangladesh, Ann Mary George, secretary at the Embassy of India, Country Director of KFW Michele Sumser and Talat Sahanshah, police commissioner.
Renowned artists in attendance: Abdul Mannan, Mohammad Eunus, Biren Shome, Ranjit Das, Tarun Ghosh, Farida Zaman, GM Khalilur Rahman, Rokeya Sultana, Naima Haque, Naseem A. Nadvi, Mhd Iqbal, Samar Mazumder, Muniruzzaman, Zohir Uddin, Sunil Kumar, Rezaun Nabi, Rashed Huda, , Bishwajit Goswami, Dilruba Latif, Sohana Shahrin, Subrana Shameen, Sourav Chowdhury, Shyamal Sarker, Sanjit Das Opu, Lita Eunus, Monideepa Das, A Dhali Tomal, Sultan Ishtiak, grandmaster Yuri, Tejosh H Josh and many more.
The event featured insightful discussions on the future of Bangladesh’s art industry, the impact of digitization on artistic preservation, and the opportunities for Bangladeshi artists to engage with global audiences.
The highlight of the evening was the official introduction of the Art Data Center, which aims to create a comprehensive digital archive for artists, researchers, and art enthusiasts.
“This initiative will ensure that the works of our legendary artists are accessible worldwide, fostering global appreciation and recognition for Bangladeshi art,” said Alisha Pradhan.
The evening concluded with a networking dinner, where renowned artists, diplomats, and cultural leaders engaged in meaningful discussions, paving the way for future artistic collaborations.

The guests also took part in the culinary delight of the first authentic Yemeni cuisine in Bangladesh brought by Al Majlish Yemeni Restaurant open from Saturday.
The dinner was followed by a musical evening performed by renowned musician Hossain Arif.
The event was concluded with remarks to promote Bangladeshi art regionally for promoting peace and harmony through culture.
HerNet Fine Arts fosters the ground to represent the art of Bangladesh globally through its art initiatives.
Multiple proposals were placed at the dialogue including finding alternate sources for revenue generation for digital arts.
With this landmark event, HerNet Fine Arts reaffirmed its commitment to cultural preservation and artistic innovation, setting a new standard for Bangladesh’s art and heritage initiatives on the global stage.
