Online exhibitions have proven to be the most significant way for artists around the world to connect and express amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Through virtual platforms, artists, art galleries, and museums are promoting their artworks and services, which enable them to reach their target audiences with a more affordable budget.
With that thought in mind, Media Art Space – a digital platform that connects the global community of artists, curators, and institutions – launched a 15-day online international media art exhibition titled “Dream of Dawn” on August 1.
The exhibition is being hosted by Md Alamgir Hossain and Md Shifur Rahman Chowdhury for their master’s thesis research under the international media cultural work department at Hochschule Darmstadt in Germany, according to a press release.
A total of 13 media artworks by 29 artists from different countries – including Bangladesh, Germany, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, and Bolivia – participated in the virtual exhibition.
Various types of media arts, such as 3D audio, fulldome film, digital art, video games, and performance art are being showcased at the exhibition.
Through Media Art Space, artists can exhibit their artwork and start their online platform before the global audience, the release added.
