The Six Seasons Hotel launched a weeklong Mexican food festival, titled "A Week in Mexico", at its Sky Pool restaurant on Sunday.
Along with the food, customers will also be able to enjoy Salsa dance performances for Tk3,999 per person, from 6:00pm until 11:00pm.

Md Al-Amin, general manager of the hotel, inaugurated the food fest.
“We usually try to do something interesting every month. Our aim is to promote some specific cuisines. This month we thought about doing something exotic and exclusive, and a little bit different. From that thought, we highlighted Mexican food and have tried our level best to come up with authentic Mexican cuisine because we found in a study that there is a huge popularity of Mexican food in Dhaka,” said Amin.
“We have all the authentic popular Mexican dishes, and we are calling this a service buffet, not a regular buffet. You can order and everything one by one would be served on your table to make sure the safety and hygiene measures are maintained properly,” he also said.
About the response from the customers, Amin said: “We are getting a lot of response, especially [from a few] specific banks are our partners. We have a specific client base. They always look forward to us so we have to come up with something new."
The Brazilian Ambassador to Bangladesh Joao Tabajara de Oliveira Junior was present at the launching ceremony as well.
