The Comilla City Corporation by-polls will be held on March 9.
Election Commissioner (EC) Anisur Rahman told reporters at his office at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon on Monday.
He said the voting will be held through Electronic Voting Machine (EVM).
The voting will continue uninterrupted from 8am to 4pm.
On December 13, Comilla City Corporation mayor Arfanul Haque Rifat passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Singapore. The election date has been announced nearly 1.5 years after his death.
Additionally, on the same day, the Mymensingh City Corporation election will also be held.
