Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman Fazlur Rahman said on Friday that the next national elections will be held in due time as per the constitution. The arson terrorism of the BNP-Jamaat alliance cannot stop it.
While speaking as the chief guest at a gathering of valiant freedom fighters at the Nawabganj area, he said: "BNP-Jamaat alliance has started to carry out arson terrorism again in the name of movement ahead of the national polls. These activities have brought down their popularity to zero."
Referring to the development in the last 15 years, Salman said Bangladesh is now a role model for development across the world.
Before the gathering, Salman, the lawmaker of Dhaka-1 constituency (Dohar- Nawabganj), inaugurated various development projects including the Bandura-Nayanshree Bridge project at a cost of Tk54 crore.
