The by-election for Natore-4 seat will be held on October 11.
Election Commission Secretary Md Jahangir Alam announced the election schedule after the commission meeting on Thursday.
He said that the deadline for submission of nomination papers is September 17, selection is September 18, and the deadline for withdrawal is September 24.
He also said that voting will be done on ballot papers. There will be no CCTV cameras in polling stations in the by-election.
Earlier on August 30, Abdul Quddus, 77, member of parliament of Natore-4 (Gurdaspur-Baraigram) Constituency and president of Natore district Awami League, died. National Parliament declared Natore-4 seat vacant due to his death.
