The annual income of Awami League President Sheikh Hasina is over Tk77 lakh, according to her affidavit submitted with the nomination paper to the Election Commission to contest in the 11th parliamentary elections from Rangpur 6 constituency.
Of her income, Tk3 lakh come from the agriculture sector, while Tk138,625 from rents of house/apartment/shop or others, and Tk1,696,009 from business royalties.
Also, Tk1,200,000 comes from shares, savings certificate/bank deposits, Tk1,638,000 from services (honorariums), and Tk2,776,760 from other sources.

As per the affidavit, Sheikh Hasina, also the prime minister, has Tk84,575 in cash, while the amount of her deposited money with the bank and financial institutions is Tk72,185,303.
Her investment in different savings certificates and fixed deposits is Tk500,000.
She has gold and other ornaments worth of Tk1,325,000 and furniture worth Tk740,000.

According to the affidavit, the price of her six acres of arable land was Tk778,000 when acquiring the land, while that of non-arable land was Tk675,000 when acquiring
Sheikh Hasina's academic qualification is BA, as mentioned in the affidavit, and she is not currently accused in any case.
