AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury-led Jukta Front has declared its intention to contest the 11th general election under the 14-Party Alliance led by Awami League.
Mahi B Chowdhury, Presidium member of key Jukta Front element Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh, informed journalists of the decision on Tuesday, following a meeting with the ruling party’s General Secretary Obaidul Quader at the Awami League president’s political office in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
Mahi and Bikalpa Dhara Secretary General Maj (retd) MA Mannan attended the meeting with Awami League leaders to discuss topics regarding the upcoming polls and possible candidates.
