University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has achieved a significant milestone by appearing for the first time in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2026, reflecting its deep commitment to environmental stewardship, social impact, and strong institutional governance.
In its inaugural entry, ULAB secured 12th position in Bangladesh among 22 institutions, 122nd in South Asia among 191 institutions, 582nd in Asia among 827 institutions, and 1501+ globally among 2002 institutions.
This recognition underscores ULAB’s growing dedication to sustainable practices across academics, operations, research, and community engagement. The ranking evaluates institutions based on three key pillars — Environmental Impact, Social Responsibility, and Governance — aligned with the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) framework.
ULAB has integrated sustainability into its strategic vision, embedding environmental awareness and social responsibility into its curriculum, operations, and community outreach initiatives. From green campus initiatives to socially relevant research to a degree dedicated to sustainability, ULAB is forging a path toward a more equitable and environmentally conscious future.
