Uttara University hosted a seminar and cultural program to celebrate Sirat-un-Nabi (SA) 2024 on Wednesday at the university's permanent campus.
The event featured various speakers, including Sheikh Ahmadullah, chairman of As-Sunnah Foundation, Professor Mokhter Ahmad, founder chairman of Tarbiyah Education Network, and Mufti Saiful Islam, imam of Masjid Ut-Taqwa Society, who spoke as guests of honor.
During the seminar, the speakers emphasized the importance of implementing the principles of the Prophet Muhammad (SA), highlighting that true liberation for humanity lies in following his path.
They said that the purpose of sending all Prophets and Messengers was to establish Islamic principles in contrast to other ideologies, asserting that Islam is the only ideal for human liberation and that the Prophet (SA) exemplified the practical application of this ideal.
Following the discussions, crests were presented to the distinguished guests in recognition of their contributions.
The program concluded with a closing statement of gratitude by Dr Mostafa Kabir Siddiqui, assistant professor in the Islamic Studies Department at Uttara University.
The second part of the event featured a vibrant cultural program organized by the band "Silsila" from Dhaka University, where attendees enjoyed Islamic songs and qawwali performances, enriching the celebration of Sirat-un-Nabi (SA).
