Bangladesh Technical Education Board Director (Curriculum) Md Rakib Ullah has been appointed as the new chairman of the board.
The Technical and Madrasa Education Division under the Ministry of Education issued an order in this regard on Sunday.
According to the terms of appointment, he will be entitled to salary and other allowances as per the pay scale approved by the government.
On the other hand, in another order, the acting chairman of Bangladesh Technical Education Board Professor Md Mamun-ul Haque has been relieved from the board and assigned to the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education.
