The results of 781 students have been altered following the re-evaluation of the SSC exam results of 2024 under the Comilla Education Board.
The re-inspection results were published on Tuesday through a circular signed by Dr Md Asaduzzaman, controller of examinations at the Comilla Education Board.
Deputy Controller of Examinations (Secondary) Mohammad Shahidul Islam said that 30,898 students applied online to re-check 75,085 answer sheets across various subjects for the 2024 SSC examination. Among them, the results of 781 students were changed. Besides, 77 students received a new GPA-5, 204 students who had initially failed passed, and 500 students saw a change in their grades.
Comilla Education Board Chairman Professor Dr Md Nizamul Karim said the results were published after proper verification of the answer sheets according to the established policy.
Students whose results have changed will have the opportunity to apply online for college admission on June 12-13.
The SSC results were initially published on May 12, with online re-scrutiny applications accepted from May 13-19. This year, the pass rate for the Comilla Education Board was 79.23%.
