In a bid to ensure access to education, the Prime Minister's Education Assistance Trust will help underprivileged and meritorious students to ensure admission to schools.
Students enrolled in grades VI to X will be given Tk5,000 each along with assistance.
The underprivileged students will have to apply online to get the assistance.
The deadline has been set for February 29, according to a notification of the Prime Minister's Education Assistance Trust.
According to the notification, the Prime Minister's Education Assistance Trust will assist students who are in various educational institutions under the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Directorate of Technical Education, and Technical and Madrasa Education Division.
