The Innovation Team and Institutional Quality Assurance Cell jointly organized a workshop titled "Transformation towards the SMART Bangladesh: How can Open Education Contribute" at the Bangmata Begum Fazilatunnessa Conference and Training Centre in Gazipur on Sunday to implement the E-Governance and Innovation Action Plan 2023–2024 of Bangladesh Open University (BOU).
BOU Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr Mahbuba Nasreen, Treasurer Prof Mostafa Azad Kamal, and Deputy Secretary and Project Analyst Mohammad Salahuddin of Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Program of Bangladesh Government highlighted various aspects in the implementation of Smart Bangladesh as resource persons in the workshop.
Director of BOU’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell Prof Md Anwarul Islam presided over the workshop, along with Registrar Dr Md Shafiqul Alam, heads of departments, teachers, and officials.
Officials from regional and sub-regional centres in BOU were connected virtually.
The workshop was conducted by the Additional Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell Professor Dr Sadia Afroz Sultana.
