Students of Bangabandhu Textile Engineering College (BTEC) in Tangail on Wednesday confined their Principal Engineer Mohammad Bakhtiar Hossain to his office demanding an end to session jam.
They said that the university authorities were reluctant to take measures to normalize academic activities.
The students’ demands include publication of level-2 term-1 and level-1 term-1 results, and publication of final results within a month after completing exams.
The students said that they had repeatedly requested the principal to take effective measures to resolve the ongoing impasse, but to no avail.
On Monday, the principal assured the students that the college authorities would take necessary steps in addressing their demands.
