Altogether 189,169 students have got the grade point average of 5 in this year’s HSC and its equivalent examinations under 11 education boards, up from 161,807 last year.
According to the results published on Sunday, among the GPA 5 holders, 86,763 are male students and 102,406 are female.
A total of 178,522 students achieved GPA 5 under nine general education boards, 4,872 under the Madrasah Education Board and 5,775 under the Technical Education Board.
