AHZ Associates, a leading representative of higher education institutions based in the United Kingdom, is set to host the UK Education Expo 2018 in Dhaka on Saturday, April 21, and in Sylhet on Monday, April 23.
The event will be the third expo to be organized by AHZ Associates in Bangladesh, with 20 UK-based universities geared to participate. The UK Education Expo 2018 will be organized in partnership with Pearson Edexcel, according to a press release.
The expo will provide a platform for students, teachers and other professionals to meet representatives and delegates from British universities. University delegates attending the expo will offer free counselling and spot admission assessment services for both undergraduate and postgraduate students wishing to apply.
In addition, scholarships will be available for selected institutions, the press release said.
Furthermore, leading English Language and IELTS centre in Dhaka WINGS will be available for free advice at the expo. WINGS is an associate partner of the British Council Bangladesh.
In the press release, AHZ Associates Director Golam Mortuza said: “This will be a great opportunity for the students to enhance their scope for studying abroad. This is going to be a union of students, teachers and all related professionals. We think that the expo holds huge potential for Bangladeshi students.”
Interested applicants are requested to bring their passport, CV, reference letter, transcripts, all academic certificates and UKVI IELTS result if they wished to get an on-the-spot assessment on the day of the event.
Entry to the expo is free, but it is recommended that those wishing to attend pre-register on the AHZ Associates website to avoid long queues.
The expo will be open from 10am-5pm at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka, and the Crystal Ball Room Rose View Hotel in Shahjalal Uposhohor of Sylhet.
