Evergreen Zoom Bangladesh Foundation (EZBF), a non-profit organisation, held an event, “Friendship with underprivileged children 2017,” for the second time at National Shishu Park in Dhaka’s Shahbag area on August 23.
The event aims to spread the spirit of friendship among the underprivileged children.
During the event, around 250 volunteers have spent a day with around 200 children -- by playing games, sharing rides at the amusement park, and having meals together.

He said: "Some of these children have no family, and they often work and sleep on the pavements. Therefore they were delighted when the event was organised last year."
Keeping up with the event's popularity among the children, the organisation held it for the second time. Actor Masum Parvez Rubel, retired Lieutenant General M Harun-ar-Rashid, actress Shahnoor and comedian Saifur Rahman were also invited.
