Police detained three people after two consecutive cocktail explosions in the capital’s Dhanmondi area on Saturday.
Dhanmondi police station Officer-in-Charge Muhammad Imdadul Islam said the explosions took place on Road No 27 around 12:15pm.
Three people were detained from the scene following the explosions, he said.
The incident occurred in an area bordering the jurisdictions of Dhanmondi and Mohammadpur police stations.
Police are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, the OC said.
