A fire that broke out at Eureka Filling Station opposite the Raowa Club in Mohakhali has been brought under control.
The incident took place around 7:18pm on Sunday.
Ten units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence brought the fire under control at 7:47pm.

The duty officer of the Fire Service headquarters, Rashed Bin Khalid, confirmed the matter.
He said that as soon as they received the news of the fire, members of the fire service rushed to the spot. However, due to traffic congestion, the vehicles were delayed in reaching the scene.
The media officer of the fire service, Md Shahjahan Sikder, said: “We received news of the fire at 7:18pm. Our units reached the spot quickly, and 10 units began work. After about 30 minutes of effort, the fire was brought under control.”

He also said that initially, there were no reports of casualties in the fire. The source of the fire and the extent of the damage are yet to be known.
The sudden fire created panic in the area. Locals quickly moved to safety after the fire broke out.
Earlier, several fire incidents had taken place in different areas of Dhaka at CNG stations and near gas lines.
Investigations each time revealed that the accidents occurred due to a lack of safety measures or negligence.
