Injured July uprising protesters stage sit-in before Chief Adviser’s Office

They chanted slogans demanding appropriate compensation and sufficient support

People injured during the July uprising on Wednesday gathered in front of the office of the interim government’s chief adviser, Dr Muhammad Yunus.

They marched to the Chief Adviser’s Office in Tejgaon, Dhaka, and staged a sit-in on the road, chanting slogans demanding appropriate compensation and sufficient support.

Eyewitness reports indicate that the injured individuals were sitting on the road in front of the entrance gate of the Chief Adviser’s Office.

Members of the police, APBn, and other security agencies responsible for guarding the office were surrounding them.

Previously, injured protesters had blockaded different locations in the capital, including Shyamoli, Shahbagh, and the chief adviser’s residence, Jamuna, demanding recognition and rehabilitation.
