Gas supply will remain suspended for all categories of consumers in several areas of the capital for 13 hours, from 10am to 11pm on Tuesday, according to a press release issued by Titas Gas.
The affected areas include roads 11, 12, 13, and 14 of Baridhara Diplomatic Zone, Baridhara New DOHS, Jagannathpur, Nodda, Kalachandpur, Lichubagan, Joar Sahara, Kuratoli up to the entire Bashundhara Residential Area (including the 300 Feet road) and the stretch from the northeastern side of the US Embassy to Kuril Bishwa Road.
Additionally, surrounding areas may experience reduced gas pressure.
The press release further stated that the suspension is necessary for relocating Titas Gas pipelines due to alignment work related to the underground station (Nadda) of the MRT Line-1 project under the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited.
