The Election Commission on Tuesday distributed "Smart Card" among 174 injured victims of July uprising who are receiving treatment at different hospitals in the capital.
Director General (DG) of the EC, Additional Secretary SM Humayun Kabir handed over the cards at a function in the cabin block of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
Director of the university Brigadier General Abu Noman Mohammad Mosleh Uddin was present at the function, among others.
Among the injured who received the smart cards – 50 have been taking treatment at BSMMU, 43 in National Institute of Ophthalmology, 13 in Dhaka Medical, 67 in National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (Nitor) and one in National Burn Institute.
