A demand for the release of a final list of the injured and martyrs from the July-August movement and the issuance of identity cards (smart cards) for the injured has been made within the next week.
These demands were raised during a human chain organized by "Students and Public Injured in the July-August Mass Uprising" in front of the National Press Club on Sunday.
The 9-point demand from the students and public includes the publication of the final list of those injured and martyred in the movement within a week, the issuance of identity cards (smart cards), ensuring immediate medical treatment and lifelong free government healthcare for the injured, providing a monthly honorarium to the injured and families of martyrs, arranging immediate rehabilitation for the injured and families, passing a law to prevent any politically motivated or false cases, resolving complications, ensuring the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation quickly provides assistance, swiftly trying criminals involved in the uprising, establishing a separate ministry for the movement and officially documenting and implementing all demands.
