Detectives have arrested former minister of cultural affairs Asaduzzaman Noor.
The Detective Branch of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested Asaduzzaman, an actor, politician and activist, from Nawratan Colony on Bailey Road at around 11pm on Sunday.
DMP Deputy Commissioner (Public Relations and Media) Md Talebur Rahman confirmed the arrest.
Asaduzzaman Noor is an accused in a case filed with Mirpur police station.
