Amid the ongoing “non-cooperation movement”, protestors seized three bodies from Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) and took them to Shaheed Minar on Sunday.
The protestors went to the central Shaheed Minar with the bodies around 6pm. At this time, they chanted various slogans.
From there, the protestors went to the Anti-Terrorism Raju Memorial Sculpture of Dhaka University followed by Shahbagh in the capital.
As the protestors approached Shahbagh, they threw bricks aiming at the Shahbagh police station.
In retaliation, police dispersed them by shooting tear shells.
The protestors claimed that those three people were killed in shootings at Farmgate and Karwan Bazar areas.
