Some areas of Dhaka experienced rainfall while surrounding areas have been cloudy since Monday morning.
However, this rain did not last long.
The Meteorological Department said that 13 regions of the country, including Dhaka, have a chance of rain with gusty winds on Monday. The river ports in these areas have also been asked to display warning signal number 1.
The weather forecast for the country's inland river ports predicted 45 to 60 kmph wind from west or north-west over Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Noakhali, Comilla and Sylhet regions.
Meanwhile, Monday's weather forecast said that the day temperature may rise slightly across the country and the night temperature may remain almost unchanged.
Rain/thundershower with gusty winds may occur at two places in Rajshahi, Dhaka and Khulna divisions.
Monowar Hossain, a meteorologist of the BMD, said that there may be rain or cloudy skies in different parts of the country till Monday afternoon. There may be more rain in Dhaka. Besides, the sky may remain cloudy till noon.
