The Bangladesh Railway police has said that the identities of the burn victims will be confirmed through DNA profiling.
The autopsies of four bodies were completed by Saturday afternoon.
Earlier, Md Sefatur Rahman, sub-inspector of the railway police, made a primary report before conducting the autopsies.
He said that the bodies of the dead victims were so burnt that there was no way to recognize them.
Now, the Forensic Department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) has been asked to collect DNA profiling samples from the dead bodies during the post-mortem.
Later, samples will be collected from claimants through the Criminal Investigation Department (CID)
After matching, identified bodies will be handed over to their respective families.
So far three people including two women have submitted written applications out of four claimants. There was another woman who came without any application.
According to the morgue sources, there were three women and one man among the four bodies.
The dead bodies were kept in the mortuary.
On Friday night, miscreants set fire to the Benapole Express train in the Gopibagh area of the capital.
Four deaths have been reported.
At this time, seven units of fire service went and brought the fire under control.
