The Agargaon-Motijheel route metro rail is set to be inaugurated on November 4.
Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that Awami league President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would address a grand rally at Arambag in the capital to mark the inauguration ceremony on that day.
He made these remarks at a press conference at Awami League’s Dhanmondi party office on Sunday afternoon.
“The inauguration of the Agargaon-Motijheel section of Metro Rail Line-6 is a significant achievement for the current government, and Awami League will hold a Dhaka divisional rally on the inauguration day,” said Quader.
Initially, the inauguration date was set for October 20, but it was later rescheduled to October 29 before being delayed once more to November 4.
