Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has formed a seven-member task force committee to combat dengue by convening councillors in each ward.
This was stated in an office order signed by DNCC Secretary Masud Alam Siddique on Tuesday evening.
The task force committee will be responsible for preparing a list of potential mosquito breeding sites, such as under-construction buildings, high-rise buildings, tin-shed houses, government offices, private offices, educational institutions, shopping malls, markets, hostels, roof gardens, abandoned houses, water bodies, drains, open markets, etc. and to identify and destroy the larvae, the order said.
Besides, the order has also said to prepare the list of dengue patients and do the data entry work.
