Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has announced a Tk5269.45 crore budget for fiscal year of 2023-24.
In fiscal 2022-23, DNCC's budget was Tk5048.5 crore.
DNCC Mayor Md Atiqul Islam announced the budget at a press conference at DNCC Nagar Bhaban hall room in Gulshan in the capital on Monday.
The revenue income in the new budget from own source is Tk1830.88 crore, Tk14.75 crore will come from other sector and Tk4.57 crore will come from grant of assistance.
The government will provide Tk54.12 crore as grant (development assistance). Besides, Tk2388.46 crore will come from government and foreign aid based projects.
The revenue expenditure in the budget is Tk856.52 crore and other expenditure is Tk14.50 crore.
The development cost (own sources) of the budget is Tk1514.25 crore, development cost (government development assistance) is Tk54.12 crore and development cost (government and foreign aid based projects) is Tk2388.46 crore.
