Journalist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury remembered

Speakers fondly remembered Chowdhury and recalled how promptly he could analyze crucial national and South Asian affairs

Noted politicians and journalists on Tuesday discussed the outstanding contribution of late journalist and columnist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury at a reminiscence meeting marking his eighth death anniversary. 

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen spoke as the chief guest at the meeting, organized by Journalist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury Memorial Trust, at the National Press Club, BSS reported.

Chowdhury, former managing director of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), died in a tragic road accident in Dhaka on November 29, 2014.

Memorial Trust President and former food minister Adv Qamrul Islam, Secretary General and Bhorer Kagoj Editor Shyamal Dutta, Secretary (West) of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shabbir Ahmad Chowdhury, journalist Zaglul's former colleagues and family members also spoke at the event.
