A man was stabbed to death in the Pallabi area of Mirpur in Dhaka late on Tuesday.
The deceased is Md Zahid, 25, a fish trader by profession.
Two others—Muhammad Kamran, 23, and Kamran, 21—were injured in the attack, reports UNB.
Police said the assailants attacked the three at around 10.30pm in front of Mirpur Bangla School where they were waiting, leaving Zahid seriously injured.
Zahid was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), where the doctor on duty declared him dead around midnight.
The body was later taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy, said Inspector Bacchu Mia of DMCH police outpost.
