Two persons died and at least four others sustained injuries after two trucks and a pickup van collided in Dhaka's Rupnagar area early on Friday.
The deceased are Badal, 45, the driver of one of the trucks and Md Rafik, 24, a worker of the pickup, police told the media.
The three vehicles collided near Birulia Beribandh in Rupnagar at around 3am, leaving six people with injuries.
They were then taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where Rafik and Badal succumbed to their injuries in the morning about an hour apart.
The others injured in the crash are the driver of the other truck and other workers of the pickup van.
The bodies of the deceased were sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy, said Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH Police Outpost.
