Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier airline of Turkey, has decided to operate five weekly flights on the Dhaka-Istanbul-Dhaka route from September 7.
Turkish Airlines Marketing Manager A Sattar Siddique confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Sunday.
The airline has scheduled five flights per week on the Dhaka-Istanbul-Dhaka route, up from four flights per week.
Turkish Airlines flight TK712 will leave Istanbul for Dhaka on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday every week from September 7, while flight TK713 will leave Dhaka for Istanbul on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday.
The airline resumed its flights to Dhaka on July 17 after a long hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Turkey opened its borders to tourists from all countries under normal travel regulations from June 12, allowing passengers of all nationalities who meet Turkish immigration rules to enter the country.
